About the author:
Dr. Heinrich Reinfried studied Japanese at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, from which he obtained his BA (Hons) in 1970 and was awarded his Ph.D. in 1975. He has taught Japanese for over 20 years at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, the University of St. Gallen, the University of Konstanz in Germany, Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences and grammar schools in Zurich.
